This place's old-world charm will transport you to a bygone era of the 1960s. This village has the typical idyllic village vibe, with cafes with names that sound like they popped out of a Hollywood Western set. Lazy Dog, Red House Café, Bob Dylan's Café, Café m 1947, and Pizza Olive are some of the exotically named cafes worth visiting for their food. SOLANG VALLEY

Solang Valley, about 13 kilometres from Manali, is known for its breathtaking views and is a popular destination for adventure seekers and honeymooners. There is no better place to be in the lap of nature than the views from Solang. Glaciers, snow-capped peaks, and snow-covered plains can all be seen from here. The elevation here is also ideal for skiing and snow play. The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports also has a guest house here. ROHTANG PASS.

The best was saved for last. Rohtang Pass is a postcard-perfect gateway to Lahual and Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh. This breathtaking pass is 51 kilometres from Manali, at a height of 3980 metres on the Manali-Keylong highway. Skiing, ice skating, paragliding, and other adventure sports draw visitors from all over the country and the world. Every year, it attracts over 25 lakh visitors. A visit to this location, however, requires special permission from the Indian Army because this section of the road is covered in snow all year, making road travel impossible until the area is cleared by the Indian Army.As a result, the RohtangPass is only open to tourists from April to October.
